When you log into your account fill out the order form for a Notary, any available notaries will be notified and join you in a secure video meeting, where you will be required to go through both, ID Verification and Knowledge-Based Authentication

Absolutely, we do not have to do anything different, create an account to get started. Fill out a Notary order form, upload the document you need notarized (unsigned), get ready to meet them in a secure video meeting, sign the document, and get notarized!

The ID verification process is taking a front and back scan of your Valid Government Issued ID and conduct a likeness test. Verify that it is a valid document and that you match the ID. This is required for all Notarizations but is optional for all other types of signings.

Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) is a series of questions that must be answered with a certain percentage of success about yourself that you authenticate yourself with the knowledge you would only possess. We require this for all Notarizations, but it is optional when conducting other types of signings.

In an online notarization, both you and the notary electronically sign the notarized document. Thanks to federal and state laws such as the ESIGN Act and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), when everyone agrees to perform their transaction electronically, electronic signatures are just as legally binding as a handwritten signature for all documents. Some states, public agencies and court systems impose additional requirements and limitations for accepting electronically-signed documents, so it’s always important to check with your intended recipient to confirm what their specific requirements may be for accepting electronically signed and/or notarized documents.

Currently, only Florida, South Carolina, Maine and Nevada, and Montana authorize Notaries to perform weddings as part of their official duties. Although other wedding officiants can operate through our platform, feel free to let them know!

We do not employ any Notaries, we allow Notaries to have access to our tools to conduct their notarization's.

We have a free account where notaries who want to try out the platform may do so, and can use our tools to conduct a signing electronically with anyone they like!

Notary's if hired through this platform are independent contractors, otherwise, they use this platform like anyone else.

The free account is subsidized by their own pay, so if you are a notary that likes the platform and wants to use it frequently, sign up for the higher tier accounts where you will get access to higher pay, and expanded tool kits.
